I tested each design both as automatic and as manual night light base, and due to slight structural differences in the manufactured hardware, i'm able to achieve a better looking light diffusion with the automatic base, which is why I chose it as the universal base for all of the minis, the LED in the base is also stated to provide 50k hours of continuous light!
